Golden Baked Goodies - fresh baked goods, homemade cookies and more!

Growing up I loved walking into my grandma’s house. The smell of fresh baked bread would envelop me like a warm hug. She’d be standing in the kitchen, always happy to see us and always ready to feed us. That’s what Golden Baked Goodies is to me. It’s a feeling of nostalgia, that invites people to sit and gather with the people they love, eating food that nourishes them physically and mentally. 

As a self taught baker, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to “practice” my craft over the years while raising our family. A few years ago I decided to apply at a local bakery, and loved working there from day one. Learning how to produce recipes in larger quantities, learning new techniques and learning from my co-workers was a joy and a privilege. I especially loved seeing the customers faces when they picked up their orders and was proud to play a part in their lives and events. 

While working at the bakery I discovered a love for decorating cut out cookies. Whether they’re for a graduation, an engagement party, or just for fun, I love that there are limitless design possibilities. Additional favorites include cinnamon rolls, muffins, scones, cookies, pies and more.
